Our vision for the Coastal Empire chapter is to engage the surrounding communities, businesses and government agencies in a communicative exchange, one that will allow the flow of information which is vital to keep our nation secure, in both the physical and cyberspace arenas. The mission of this chapter is to focus education and inform regional businesses, organizations, law enforcement agencies, as well as citizens in the surrounding communities on issues involving cybercrime. Through hosted bimonthly meetings, the Coastal Empire chapter of InfraGard will be offering opportunities for members to learn more about pressing cybersecurity issues, ask questions, and network with other professionals who either know more on the subject, or can share ways in which to prevent attacks. As of this date, there are now close to 80 chapters throughout the United States, with more growing every month. This network of chapters will aid us in ensuring that cyber intrusions, exploited vulnerabilities, and infrastructure threats are minimized or eradicated to  protect  critical infrastructure in both the public and private sectors.
